Before the feathers, there was only the "Same-Same." For kurei, life was a suffocating loop of gray halls and silent lunches. Defined by the cruelty of others and the crushing weight of isolation, she became exhausted—not just with school, but with the very chemistry of her existence. She didn't just want a new life; she wanted a new vessel.
The Law-Breaker
Driven by a boredom so profound it bordered on the divine, kurei committed the ultimate taboo: she broke the fundamental laws of Earth to rewrite her own biology. She discovered the ability to Molt.
Whenever a life became too heavy, the reputation too tarnished, or the bullying too loud, she would simply shed her skin like a serpent, leaving the old "her" behind to step into a fresh, handcrafted body.
The Final Evolution: From Skin to Sky
For eons (or so it felt), the cycle continued. She hopped from body to body, searching for a spark that never came. But during her most recent reincarnation, the process glitched.
Instead of the familiar, paper-thin parchment of human skin hitting the floor, the air was filled with the sound of rustling quills. She didn't shed a layer; she grew a canopy. The "Shedding of Feathers" signaled the end of her transition from a grounded, suffering girl to a celestial anomaly.
She has stopped running. The feathers represent her final form—a creature no longer bound by the "Same-Same," finally free to fly above the world that once tried to bury her.

Background
On 25 May 2025, she held her first stream. At the time, she was neither a PNGTuber nor a VTuber, as she only had an iPad and a low-quality microphone.
2024
On 17 April, she made her earliest known upload, featuring an animated short centered around a butterfly-themed girl performing a dance (commonly associated with the "pokedance" trend). The animation also includes accompanying characters resembling a blue butterfly and a caterpillar, portrayed as playful companions interacting within the scene.
The butterfly girl is widely understood to have been an early concept for her intended mascot and VTuber identity. However, this concept was later replaced during development. Subsequent design iterations shifted toward different character ideas, including a water-based cat concept known as seakat (a cat composed of liquid water). Multiple experimental mascot designs were explored over time, though most were not retained as the final model.
Ultimately, only one design from these iterations was carried forward into her current VTuber identity, while earlier concepts remained as part of her creative history.

While she may look like a celestial anomaly covered in a teenager body in a cottage, Kuchinashi Reino Ki is fundamentally a master mage and the literal architect of the parallel dimension, Ron'rihanesora.
Having spent thousands of years breaking the laws of Earth's biology, she has a casual relationship with reality and a profound mastery over cosmic magic. She spends her eons of free time acting as a mentor to her avian apprentice, EVA-10. Because traditional spellbooks are boring, Reino Ki bypassed the standard magic curriculum entirely and permanently channelled her raw, reality-warping sorcery directly into EVA-10’s firearm. She essentially invented "Bullet Hell Sorcery," proving that a true mage doesn't need a staff when they can just imbue a semi-automatic weapon.
